I have reviewed Poppy’s note and sorry for the delay.
In terms of the initial diagnosis I agree with you there is an arguable case of clinincal negligence due to the misreporting of the initial blood results and if Vets Now had been aware of the abnormalities taking into account her deteriorating clinical picture they would have put her on fluids and started presumptive therapy prior to getting a confirmatory ACTH stim test done on Monday when the lab opened.”
(For info – this test was finally ordered after Magnolia House Vets had allowed Poppy to deteriorate for 40 hours till she could no longer stand up….)
